Our Chairman speaks on the 7th Annual Emiratisation Forum

 

On the 7th Annual Emiratisation Forum held on 17th November 2015, Omar Bamadhaf

Al Katheeri discussed the role of the Emirati as the central Player in the economic growth and the diversification of the economy. He also spoke about making sure that the academic programmes prepares the students to meet the requirements of the market and the need to provide the right coaching and support to Emiratis to achieve what they need in their careers.

EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION SURVEY – OUTSOURCED EMPLOYEES

As SUNDUS develops the RPO (Recruitment Process Outsource) function of its business, it continually strives to improve the service it provides to its contract staff. We currently have a large number of employees that are contracted to mainly government and semi-government departments.

These entities choose to outsource staff for a number of different reasons:

1.       Provides the facility to focus on core business processes while delegating complex, time consuming processes to SUNDUS.

2.       Releases internal resources that can be put to more effective use.

3.       Gain access to resources not available internally.

4.       Save costs and conserve capital funds that can be leveraged in a manner that best profits the company.

5.       Delegate functions that are difficult to manage and control while still realising their benefits.

6.       Mitigate risk.

SUNDUS recently conducted an Employee Satisfaction Survey at DOT (Department of Transport) in order to measure the quality of service provided and to indentify any areas requiring improvement. The following is the results of that survey.

ISO 9001:2008 Certificate of Registration

SUNDUS was recently awarded ISO 9001:2015 Certificate of Registration. The certification is an acknowledgement that the management system of the company has been audited and found to be in compliance with the requirements of the management system standard for Recruitment Services and Human Resource Consultancy.

The ISO 9001 standard was developed to ensure a Quality Management System (QMS) is set up to meet our customers’ quality requirements while continually improving operational processes resulting in high quality of delivery of services to our clients.

 

 

 

 

 

NEW DEVELOPMENTS AT SUNDUS

In July 2012 SUNDUS welcomed to its team Tareq Aljabbarin who was appointed ‘Director of Recruitment’ with responsibility for developing and expanding the recruitment division. Tareq brings to the company a wealth of HR, recruitment and strategic planning experience and knowledge, gained during 16 years working in the industry in both Jordan and UAE. He possesses a clear understanding of recruitment dynamics and competitor and industry trends.

During the course of the past 10 months Tareq has been instrumental in introducing many new clients to the company and expanding its industry focus from mostly oil and gas to a diversity extending across infrastructure, finance, banking, IT, rail, hospitality and the military. He has expanded the company’s  ‘Emiratisation and Executive Search’ division with a vision to contribute to the initiative of the government of UAE to employ its citizens in a meaningful and efficient manner in the public and private sectors; and to recruit senior expat executives for its clients in the government, semi-government and private sectors in the United Arab Emirates. Successful placements have been made of UAE Nationals and expatriate executives with AMMROC, TABREED and Etihad Rail.

Other new clients include Strata, National Bank of Abu Dhabi, YAHSAT, ADSIC, Initiative Management, ADEC and many more. 2013 has also been a year of forging new partnerships with international leading world class Recruitment Agencies such as Fircroft, Executive Surf and Sable Gulf.

Hand in hand with these developments has been the expansion and growth of our recruitment team. Our new multicultural team offers both our clients and candidates a wealth of experience in the recruitment field here in UAE and is committed to providing an exemplary service.

After being awarded one of the few full Recruitment Trade Licenses in 2010, SUNDUS was recently granted top rating by the Ministry of Labour.
